Beginning April 1st, 2007 the optical drive business has been transferred to Sony NEC Optiarc America. Please contact Sony NEC Optiarc for support on Sony NEC Optiarc branded drives (AD-5170, AD-7170, AD-5540) via email.
For NEC branded drives purchased as a retail kit, please do the following:
- Please fill out the request for service form or fax your request to (916) 636-5093. Please be sure to include your service tag number in the subject heading of your request as this service tag number is used to validate warranty entitlement.
- Explain the problem with the drive.
- Provide all contact information on form below. A customer service representative will then contact you. If the NEC branded drive does not have a service tag number, please contact the place of purchase for support.
