ESD precautions and proper handling procedures must be observed in order to prevent damage to system components.

Remove the Sub Battery, Main Battery, and AC adapter. Remove the memory board cover, and the memory board. Remove the ROM chip located under the memory board, and replace it with the Windows CE 2.0 ROM chip.

On the desktop PC, insert the Windows CE 2.0 Services CD-ROM. Follow the prompts on the screen to complete installation.
